Pictures of Cartoon Characters (1 for each player)
Tape
Rules:
1. Tape a different cartoon character to the back of each player.
2. Instruct the players to put themselves in order according to the first name of the cartoon character on their back without talking or writing. It is helpful at this point to tell them that it is not really important that they know who the cartoon character is on their back.
3. After they have accomplished this task have the first two in line come forward and have them one at a time act out the cartoon character on the back of their partner without speaking so that the player can identify the cartoon character on his or her back. Repeat until everyone knows how their cartoon character is.
Discussion Questions:
1. What was the hardest part of this task?
2. What became the main way that you communicated with each other?
3. Is communication possible with people who do not speak our language?
4. How about communicating with God?
5. How did others help you discover your cartoon identity?
6. Is there any resemblance to real life? Do others help you discover who you were created to be?

Supplies:
Question Cups: To create the question cups simply go to your local store and buy some styrophome coffee cups or sturdy plastic drinking cups. On each cup write a question on it or get some do-it-yourself labels and create them on the side of the cups. (It is important to number the cups on the top so that you can create an answer key.) Y
Poker Chips: A variety of poker chips will help create a sense of excitement over the scoring.
Rules:
1. Start by placing the cups upside down in six or more stacks. Randomly place poker chips inbetween
the cups so that no one will know where they are.
2. In a predetermine order teams will come forward and pick one of the six questions showing. If they answer the question right they then remove the cup from the pile. If there is a poker chip underneath it , they receive the point value for that poker chip. If there is no poker chips they get no points for the answering the question correctly. In addition to unveiling the poker chips, the team unveils a new question when they removed their cup. Sample point value green poker Chip = 1 point, blue poker chip = 5 pts, red poker chip = 10 pts, and black poker chip = 25 pts.

When the people saw that Moses was so long in coming down from the mountain, they gathered around Aaron and said, "Come, make us gods who will go before us. As for this fellow Moses who brought us up out of Egypt, we don't know what has happened to him." Aaron answered them, "Take off the gold earrings that your wives, your sons and your daughters are wearing, and bring them to me." So all the people took off their earrings and brought them to Aaron. He took what they handed him and made it into an idol cast in the shape of a calf, fashioning it with a tool. Then they said, "These are your gods, O Israel, who brought you up out of Egypt." When Aaron saw this, he built an altar in front of the calf and announced, "Tomorrow there will be a festival to the LORD." So the next day the people rose early and sacrificed burnt offerings and presented fellowship offerings. Afterward they sat down to eat and drink and got up to indulge in revelry.
