Beach towel volleyball is a great game for building team work because one must work together with a partner to catch the volleyball with the towel but also with that same partner to throw the ball back over the net.
Scripture Passage: Ecclesiasates 4:9-12
Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their toil. For if they fall, one will lift up his fellow. But woe to him who is alone when he falls and has not another to lift him up! Again, if two lie together, they keep warm, but how can one keep warm alone? And though a man might prevail against one who is alone, two will withstand him—a threefold cord is not quickly broken.
Supplies:

4. The goal is to have the team throw their color balls over the opposing teams head to their captain so that he or she may place them in the buckets.
5. While the teams are doing this they are also playing bombardment with the dodge balls. If they are hit by the dodge ball they are out or if someone catches the dodge ball that they threw they are out. If someone on their team catches a ball then a player for their team can come back on.
Bible Code is a great way to teach players how to look up Scripture Passages. Bible Code also helps players learn about the use of symbols in the Bible.

This instructional game takes a classic game that most children know and gives it a spiritual dimension by demonstrating to them the need to defend their faith. The inspiration for this game came from the dream that St. John Bosco had. St. John Bosco dream that the pope was the captain of a ship, the Church, and that he was in a great sea battle. The pope knew that the only way that the he could win the battle was by anchoring the ship between two great pillars. On top of one pillar was the Eucharist and on top of the other pillar was the Blessed Virgin Mary.
Supplies
2 Eucharist Balls (one for each team)
- Take a ball and cover it with words and images that depict the Eucharist. It could be a simple as writing the word “Eucharist” on the ball, or putting stickers on the ball itself.
2 Blessed Virgin Mary Balls (one for each team)
- Take a ball and cover it with words and images that depict the Eucharist. It could be a simple as writing the word “Blessed Virgin Mary” on the ball, or putting stickers on the ball itself.
2 God Balls (one for each team)
- Take a ball and cover it with words and images that depict the Eucharist. It could be a simple as writing the word “God” on the ball, or putting stickers on the ball itself.
4 Stands (two for each team)
- One can make these stands in different ways. Some people use PVC pipe and others use large cups. All you need is something that will keep the balls off the ground.
Instructions/Guidelines
1. Divide the court in two by some sort of line that is clearly visible. Place on each side near the back of the court two stands. On top of these stands to start the game put up the “Eucharist Ball” and the “Blessed Virgin Mary Ball”. Set the “God ball” nearby so that it can easily begotten during the game.
2. Divide the players into two teams and assign each team a different side of the court.
3. The object of the game is to knock the others teams “Blessed Virgin Mary Ball” and the “Eucharist Ball” off their stands. When this is accomplished the team who has lost their “Blessed Virgin Mary Ball and “Eucharist Ball” must put up their “God Ball” on one of the two stands. It then becomes the object of the opposing team to knock the “God Ball” off the stand. The first team to knock off the other team’s “God’s Ball” wins.
4. The other rules of the game follow the rules of bombardment. Players may not cross the center line. If they cross the center line they are out. Players throw their bombardment balls across the line in hopes of knocking the other teams “Eucharist Ball”, “Blessed Virgin Mary Ball”, and “God Ball” off their stands. If the ball they throw is caught by an a member of the opposite team then the thrower is out. If the ball thrown hits a player.and is not caught then the person who has been hit by the ball is out. It is a the discretion of the moderator if and when players are allowed back into the game once they are out. The moderator may choose not to let any players who are out back in, he or she may set a time limit of two – five minutes for players to be out, or they may let players back in when a team member of the player who is out catches an opposing team’s thrown ball.
