The idea: Teams of participants must complete fourteen different challenges in order to put together their own Processional Cross.
Supplies:
14 Small Games or Challenges (see game section for some ideas)
14 Pieces of a processional Cross (1 cross will be needed for each team.
Tools to put the processional Crosses together.
Rules
1. Teams must complete 14 events to earn the parts of a processional cross.
2. Once they have collected all their pieces then they go to a moderator who will put them together.
The idea: Teams must complete different games in order to find their keys to open their treasure chest.
Supplies:
A Treasure Chest for Each Group
A Piece of chain and lock for each group's treasure box
16 Small Games (See Game Section)
8 Keys for each group (Do not have to be real)
Rules:
1. Each group must complete as many games/challenges as possible or until they have collected all 8 of their keys.
2. Once they have completed an event the coordinator informs them if he or she has a key for them. You do not inform them a head of time because this symbolizes digging in the wrong place.
3. Once the team has collected 8 keys then they turn them in for the key that will unlock their treasure box.
The idea: Teams must complete games in order to learn clues so that they can decipher the secret code.
Supplies:
1 Big poster that has a message written on it (see below) that then has the message covered up by symbols.
2. 13 games
3. Cards that are the key to the message (for example {Cross = E}. Place 2 cards at each game.
Rules:
1. Teams must complete 13 games in order to collect cards that allow them to break the code.
2. When a team completes a challenge they get shown a card that allows them to see what letter a symbol symbolizes.
The idea: Good old fashion competition with a wacky twist
Supplies:
5 or more games that involves at least two teams competing against each other. You may wish to have a rotation going .
Rules:
Teams earn points by defeating other teams in team building competion. The team with the most points wins.
The idea: teams complete in team building exercise to grow together as a group.
Supplies:
4 different areas to be bases of operations
3 to 4 games per base of operations
Rules:
Teams travel from one base of operation to the next until they have completed all team building exercises.
